What Are The Chances Of Getting HIV Through Intercourse?

Hello, I had sex with a woman of unknowen HIV status. I know that she has had alot of partners. I am in South Korea working, the girl comes from the Philipines. Anyway we had sex twice, the first time i do not remember as i as under the influence of alcohol. She assures me that i put a condon on the first time and i know a had one on the second time, she also performed oral on me. I have been really worried and would say suffering from anxiety. I took a HIV test 18days after although I am unsure of the type of test that is carried out here, the result was negative. Since I got the result i have had a slightly sore throat, pain in the groin area but that may be due to the ammount of walking and cycling that i have been doing at work, I also suffer from prostatitis, which i am just getting over this episode. Please can you tell me the likley hood of getting HIV from this

You engaged in risky sexual behavior, so you do have a moderate possibility of getting HIV. 18 days after possible infection is too early for an accurate antibody test, which I presume is what they did. You can get a sore throat when the infection spreads to the blood, in which case a test for viral RNA (viral load) can tell early if infection is occurring. Otherwise you need to repeat the antibody test at 3 and 6 months. Hope this answers your query. If you have further questions, I would be happy to answer them.
