What Are The Causes Of Shortness Of Breath And Fatigue?

I have been tired and short of breath. My lungs don t feel full but it hurts to take a deep breath. I have a fit bit and my bpm has been staying around 80 but if I m up walking if will go over 110. I do have some chest discomfort but that might be my lungs. I am 64 yoa.

Following are the causes for your symptoms, breathlessness, tachycardia, fatigue.

1. Anaemia
2. Heart diseases (heart failure)
3. Lung diseases (bronchitis)
4. Hypothyroidism etc.

So better to consult doctor and get done blood pressure monitoring, ecg, 2d echo, PFT (Pulmonary Function Test), complete blood count (CBC) and thyroid function test (TFT) to diagnose the cause for your symptoms.
