ENT Specialist 's  Response
hi and thanks for the query,

normally there is air in the ear.
when there is fluid in the ear then it looks like bubbles are in it.
this commonly happens when the eustachian tube is blocked.
the tube connects the inside of the ear to the back of the nose.
the tube can be blocked because of congenital deformity of the tube, allergies, infections.
meet an ENT specialist to know the exact cause of fluid in the ear.
meanwhile you can use decongestant nose drops like otrivin. these drops will open the blocked tubes.
instill 3 drops 3 times daily for 5 days.
you can blow balloons and chew gum to open the tubes.
regards,
Dr Rajkishori.
