Hello, Eczema and fungal infection are like chalk and cheese. On one hand, eczema is caused by dryness and is aggravated in winter with flaky, itchy rash mainly over elbows, knees, and shin. On the other hand, fungus thrives in moist, and warm environment producing symptoms like jock itch, athlete s foot, and fungal nail infections. The symptoms worsen in summer with sweating and humidity. While the presentation of dyshidrotic eczema is with fluid-filled itchy blisters.
