Welts Under Armpits. History Of Atopic Dermatitis. No Relief From Anti Fungal Cream. Advice

I have welts under my armpits, I have atopic dermatitis and went to the doctor they thought it may be a yeast infection and prescribed me an anit fungal but i believe its getting worse and i am getting no relief.I have changed to an all natural deodorant and use Dove soap. I have even tried going with out the deodorant.

Hi
Besides candidiasis, the lesion you described could also be due to erythrasma.
Other common skin conditions which affect the armpits are acanthosis nigricans,
Psoriasis. There presentation are different but only from history we need to keep them in mind. Final diagnosis can be made on examination of the area only.
The treatment will vary accordingly.
By the way, do you sweat a lot, is your body mass index on a higher sside?
If hyperhidrosis is there then antiperapirant might help. Erythrasma can be managed by appropriate topical creams.
