Weight Gain After Taking Diane 35 For Reducing Endometrium Thickness, Also Taking Zoloft. Why Weight Gain ?

I have been taking Diane 35 for almost 3 years now, not because of it;s contraceptive effect but because of stopping me from growing endometrium thikness. I even lost weight for about 5-6 kilos but since 6 months ago I started taking gaining weight an f now have added about 7-8 kilos. I have seen my doctor recently and he advised me to carry on taking it, regardless of my anxiety for weight gain. Mind you, I started taking Zoloft at about the same time as Diane, so I do not know if the weight loss 3 years ago was due to Diane or Zoloft. Right now I am taking both of them . I am scared of stopping Diane , it might lead me to another D@C . Please advise and let me know What is causing my weight gain , I am an healthy eater and I should be going through menopose since I am 52 and while taking Diane I will bed getting my mensturation. I have fantastic skin and better hair texture, less greasy.

Hi, the main causative of weight gain must be diane, because the harmones tend to increase weight, Mor over you at this age is not expected to take harmones, with out periodical gynacological examinations.
In my openion it is better to stop the harmones, and if your doctor prefers you can get the hysterectomy done. Thank you.
