Watery Diarrhea, Stomach Bloated, Gurgling, Nausea. No Relief With Imodium. Will Ciproflaxin Help?

Hello, i am on holiday in Thailand and have watery diarrhoea, now about 8 times a day, with a really bloated stomach and gurgling. I occasionally feel nauseous but can't throw up.

It started 9 days ago but wasnt as bad and it now seems worse. I've taken immodium on and off but it hasn't gone away. I've tried to not eat spicy goods past few days. Should I get hold of ciproflaxin to see if that works?

Thanks

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M.. Forum.
Loperamide , since not working , so you want to use ciprofloxacin , but as you have already nausea and bloating.
Cipro will aggravate this further .
IN my opinion use ornidazole 500 twice in day for 5 days .
Add one tablet of pantoprazole with this ( cipro).
Your both problem will be alright.
Plenty of fluid with antacid syrup ( containing oxetacaine )will help.
If possible get 3-4 intravenous drip of Ringer lactate .
Good luck.
