Vomiting, Abdominal Cramps, Red Rash On Chest. Thoughts?

27 year old healthy female....thursday afternoon started with vomiting and continued through the night about 6 times. Could not keep liquids down so sipped only water in very small amounts. Epsom salt bath felt good. (Still nursing a baby also). By Friday morning felt better and could keep chicken broth down. by Friday late morning had a soft boiled egg, 1/4 c. rice and more broth. By late Friday afternoon, developed lower intestinal cramping without movement. Only movements in last 24+ hours had been small amount of liquid. By Friday night, more baths, broth and just rest with 1/2 tsp of Magnesium in liquid form to water and a repeated bath. This morning she has developed a flat blotchy pinkish red rash on her chest. Lots pf stress . Any thoughts?

Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Vomiting and abdominal pain if located on the upper abdomen can be caused by gallstones or peptic ulcer. Gallstones pain usually radiates to the back.
Also gastrointestinal infection or food allergy is possible.
Skin rash seems to be caused by an allergy.
Cramping, vomiting, rash can be also caused by inflammatory bowels diseases (like Crohns disease). In such case your abdomen should get bloated and gas obstructed.

I suggest you to visit a doctor. Blood work, liver tests, abdominal ultrasound, abdominal X-ray, urine analysis, stool tests should be done at first. If all this tests will be negative, colonoscopy should be considered.

Hope this will help.
Regards.
