Voice Giving Away While Talking, Started After Taking Warfarin. Had Strep Throat Earlier. Are My Vocal Chords Getting Weaker? Suggestions?
My voice gives away when I am talking, I have been on warfarin now for 3 1/2 months. My voice started "giving way" after I was on warfarin about 1 1/2 months. (I also have loss of appetite and am losing my hair.) Then I developed strep throat and my voice has gotten very low (as in could sing bass in the choir). My GP has sent me to an ENT and he wants me to go to a larynogolgist. I am wondering if I need to do this because I think the warfarin is the reason and hopefully my voice will be back after I am off the medication, OR am I making my vocal cords weaker and should have them checked?

it can be due to medicine or otherwise vocal cord is precious organ and should not take chance should definately consult to rule out any local problem causing the problems
