Vaginal Wall Too Tight, Painful During Insertion. Tips On How To Relax Them.

I have always been very interested in sex and able to lubricate easily. However, I had a hestorectomy (?) in 2006. I was very active sexually for several years after. Currently, I've not had a partner for about 2 years but do still give myself pleasure. The last couple of months, though, when inserting my "toy", I experience an extreme amount of pain! It seems as if my vaginal wall is so very tight and even though I try to relax, it is difficuilt. I do use a lubricate.
Is there something I can do to relax the walls?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
To relax the vaginal wall, it is best to have adequate lubrication in the area which is usually decreased after a hysterectomy. You can use an estrogen based topical cream and have plenty of foreplay to help.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
