Uterus, Huge Fibroids Removed By Open Surgery, Concerned With Bladder Prolapse. How To Prevent It?

hi , I just had my uterus and huge fibroids removed by open surgery. I am concern with bladder prolapse. are there any exercises or body binders, girdles or any other support I can use to prevent this from happening? on previous page read about something called kegels? no idea what this is... please advise

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have undergone surgery for removal of fibroid uterus and has prolapse of the bladder.

Prolapse of the bladder happens due to weakness of the pelvic floor muscles that support the bladder and prevent the descent .
Kegel exercise are exercises that strengthen the pelvic floor muscles .
You can surf on internet and get the details of this exercise as rergards how to practice .It will help to prevent prolapse to some extent.
