Hi .clobestol is the best drug for psoriasis.it causes darkness of patch by removing the scales .apply a moisteriser twice daily and apply a lower potent mometasone which decreases the darkness of skin.u can also use calcipotriol cream for the better treatment.but psoriasis is a recurrent condition hence use moisteriser rregularly until the darkness subsides.if it is involving more than 40 percent use methotrexate 2.5 mg within 36 hours in a week can cure it

Dermatologist Dr. Ilyas Patel's  Response
Hi,

You are having psoriasis.

The lesions are healing after applying clobetasole cream, but leaves black pigmentation.

Postinflammatory hypermelanosis is common after healing psoriasis lesions.

The color might fade gradually...

So, there is no need to worry.

On the conterary , there is a chance to have relapse of psoriasis lesions due to worries.

So, I advise to be cool and calm.

You may apply vitamin E cream on the healed lesions.

I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
