Urine Test Was Positive For Pregnancy. Took Cyrotec. Seen Bleeding, But Not Heavy. Abortion Successful?
Pls, am 29yrs old. I saw my last period on the 24th of March and I did urine test which was positive. I swallowed 2 tabs of cyrotec n inserted one on the 2nd of may 2013 at nite. I started bleeding btw 5 and 7am. But d bleeding was not heavy and no clots and no cramps. Am still bleeding with slight pains now. Pls I would love 2 knw if d abortion is successful.

In this case, you may need to repeat the dose of cytotec till heavy bleeding & fleshy mass comes out. You need to consult with your doctor and take above medication under supervision of him/ her.
Following medical abortion, one USG scan is needed to check retained bits if any. In such case, D & C is required. Hope it helps you.
