General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Most likely your condition is benign and after evaluating your case by your complains and clinical examinations the treating doctor may decide the best suitable treatment for you .
For small cysts you may have options of watching for few cycles and do usg for any change in size etc.
secodely your doctor may suggest oral pills that may help in some cases.
surgery decided on indications like size of the cyst if it is large and may give rise to complications like torsion of the cyst giving rise to acute abdomen
piease discuss with your gynecologist and follow advice .
