Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hi, thanks for writing to HCM.

I suspect that the stomach ache which you are experiencing might be attributed to Gastritis, which might be drug induced. Symptomatic relief can be obtained by taking Antacid suspension or a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) for a few days.

If no significant symptom relief is noted then consultation with a Gastroenterologist is advisable and you may need to undergo an Upper G.I.Endoscopy to rule out any issues in the stomach.

Hope this information is helpful. Good day
