Took Prescribed Antibiotics For Chlamydia At Once, Feeling Bloated, Gassy, Nausea. Is This All Part Of Chlamydia Or Could I Be Pregnant?

Hi I just found out I had chlamydia but I was prescribed antibiotics on Friday and took all of them at once. I am now feeling bloated and more gassy and have mood swings and fatigue also cramps and nausea is this all part of chlamydia or could I be pregnant?

Hello, I would be happy to help you with your question.

The antibiotics used to treat Chlamydia (you did not list what you are on) CAN cause stomach upset and GI symptoms like you describe. But, given that this is also a disease you get from unprotected intercourse, then certainly there is a risk of pregnancy. You must check a pregnancy test and if it is positive, you need to contact your doctor immediately for an appointment as the risk of an ectopic pregnancy is increased.
