Took Althea Pills Due To Possibility Of Sperm Went Inside After Sex. Why There Is No Sign Of Period?
hello may i ask something. my girlfriend and I had sex last december 11 at 4pm then i wasnt sure if i went cum insde but took the rest of the sperm out, somehow im still worried because i think theres a little amount of sperm that went out inside of her. we went to the drugstore and bought some althea pills, she drank 1 pill at 8PM then 3x a day for 5 days. her menstruation period is 15th, now that it is december 17, im worried because she still has no signs of menstruation. is the althea pills effective?why is she delayed?is it because of the pills?

Althea pills are effective contraceptive pills but it is not 100 % effective.
You should wait for 3-4 days.If period doesn't start then urine pregnancy test should be done.
However ultrasound of pelvis is the investigation of choice for confirmation of pregnancy.
Medical methods of MTP are up to 98% effective in early weeks.
You can plan accordingly after consultation with gynecologist.
