Toenail Cut, Painful. Should I Remove The Whole Nail?
one toe nail has always been different then the rest, in the past I could cut it and file it down to size but now that I'm 55yrs old it seens to thicken from the bed of the nail, today I cut it down from the looks if it the sharp edge hits the bed of the toe nails and hurts when I walk is the a product to apply on this nail to restore the right thickness or would this require the removel of the whole nail?
Hi thanks for your question. What you’re having is called as ingrowing nail. You should have got it removed earlier, any way its treatment is complete removal of nail from nailbed. Consult a general surgeon and get it removed. Hope this answers your question.
