Hello,
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.

Thanks for your query.
I have gone through your query and understand your concern.

I suspect you may have Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
COPD can cause coughing that produces large amounts of mucus (a slimy substance). It may also cause wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and other symptoms.

My advise is to do the following investigations and consult a pulmonologist.
1. Chest X ray
2. Pulmonary function tests
3. CT scan Chest.

Usual treatment is antibiotics , Bronchodilators and inhaled steroids.

Hope this helps.
Please reply for further queries.
Wishing you good health.

Regards,
Dr.Manjeth kumar.
