Thyroid Patient, Thyroxine, Folic Acid, Conception, Mild OCD
dear dr. I am a thyroid patient taking 50 mg thyroxine daily.. 2 mths before i had my throid test and everything was in control now I want to have my 2nd child. I heard about folic acid that is very good to take before conceiving. So, what should I do? does my throid problem affects my new born baby? please help.. even my husband is suffering from mild OCD and he is also taking medication of thyroxine 20mg daily. So I think I need folic acid also? please suggest me..

thyroxin is part of our body fluids. though synthetic there is no worry.
male partners mediaation will not have effct on foetus.
