My daughter aged 13 yrs now shows a small swelling on her throat . We made her undergo blood check for thyroid and found her TT3 238.75,TT4 6.60and TSH1.19. We took aultra sound scan also and thereport is small cysticmass in the left lobe of thyroid nd recommended for fnac the fnac report is smears of aspirate from thyroid swelling shows small groups of and scattered cuboidal or oval cells having dence nuclei.The cells donot show pleomorphism. Scattered lymphocytes,plasmacells,histocytesfoamy cells and siderophages are also seen.No malignant cells or any other abnormal cells couldbe identified in the smears. The doctor we consulted told us not to take any medication as it is a problem in girls before mensturation and it will go when she gets menstural cycle regularly. The problem now is my daughter complains pain in th area which spreads along the neck to her back also. Could you give your valuable suggestion please
