Though Taking Ibuprofen Can An Ear Injury Lead To Permanent Hearing Loss Damage?

Hello

I was intoxicated over new years and don't remember what happened but my right ear was badly bruised. I guess I blacked out and hit my ear. It was painful to move or touch the ear for the next 2 days. Ive taken Ibuprofen and the bruising has gone down a bit and the pain has pretty much subsided. However my ear still feels clogged and I'm worried if this might be some permenant hearing loss damage or should keep taking ibuprofen and give it more time to recover?

hello. it is likely there may be a clot or swelling in your ear, which may cause the clogged feeling. you can take ibuprofen for the pain, but still meet your ENT doctor for examining your ear. thanks
