There is a large red spot on my neck after a corrective surgery. Can this be corrected ?

I had corrective surgery on my neck but it left me with a large red spot on my neck. What would cause this and can I get it corrected? I am 67 years old, 5 6\

From your history it is not clear that for what you gone for surgery,
Was it a lipoma or carbuncle ?
There is chance of recurring the same or some infection is there.
Consult the doctor who performed this surgery.
