I'm 79 yrs old and got LICHEN-PLANUS, WAAS DX. 2 WEEKS AGO, Cream was GOOD. Stop the cream per the DR. Now I got these spots On lower back. I WILL BE BACK ON THE CREAM in another week. Question is I WAS TOLD THIS CAN BE AND OFF. Someone told me baths is good for this and will dry up Faster is this true????
I would like you to know that lichen planus. Is essentially a chronic skin condition. It has this tendency to come and go. You cannot assume it to be completely cured so soon. Most commonly prescribed drugs for the treatment of this disease are topical steroid creams which does control this disease to quite some extend. Now there is so scientific role of baths in controlling this skin disease. It does surely help in keeping the affected area clean but there is on role more than this.
