Taking Synthroid For THS, THS Fluctuating. Should Continue Medication? How To Increase Chances To Conceive?
I am 37 years old and my husband is 45. We went to fertility specialist, after trying for 4 months. My TSH first time came out 4.86 after taking synthroid for 3 weeks it went to 23.4 and a wee after from that test new TSH was 16.3 Why do TSH fluctuate so much? Should I continue medication and how to increase chances to conceive? Thanks so much.
HI Thank for asking to HCM I really appreciate your concern if you have thyroid dysfunction and this is related with thyroid stimulation hormone and this hormone is may fluctuate with the metabolic rate, and this is nothing to take with the pregnancy so you could plan for the baby, hope this information helps you take care and have nice day.
