Taking Seasonale. Painful Period, White Fatty Discharge. What Could This Be?

hello, I am currently on the birth control Seasonale for about a year now. I am currently at the end of my pack and am on my period. It is extremely painful this time round and I had discharge of a white fatty substance. What could this be? i ve have it before when I wasn t sexually active so I know its not a miscarriage

The passage of a white fatty substance before the beginning of the period could be thick vaginal secretions which is a normal occurrence. This is not a worrisome finding.
