Taking Metoprolol, Getting Dizzy, Diarrhea, Varying Blood Pressure. Side Effect ?

i am taking metoprolol er succinate 25 mg tabs . 1 tablet by mouth once a day.
I started 2 weeks ago, but it made me dissy , gave me diarrhea ,so after the first week i stop taking it .
I check my pressure every day and it is 145/ 71/80 with my personal blood pressure unit every other day . my question is will affect me even though my pressure is or has been always the same.

the most common cause of dizziness after starting blood pressure meication is extra dose since your pressures or ok after taking medication it could be allergy to medication...pls change over to XXXX and see your symptoms improve...once daily keep watch on your b.p..
