Taking Lialda For Ulcerative Colitis. Swollen And Painful Knee. Will Embrel Work?

Hi, I have a 26 year history of ulcerative colitis . Fairly well controlled with Lialda ( mesalamine ). 6 weeks ago knee swelled and painful- nothing wrong with knee-had MRI etc. now docs want to put me on humira. Looking online at people s experiences I m too scared of it. I know Embrel isn t for colitis but seems to work for arthritis and seems to be less scary. Even though knee issue is aparantly related to colitis, would Embrel possibly work?
