Taking Levothyroxine For Hyperthyroidism. Have Rapid Pulse, Throat Irritation, Sweating. What Is Wrong?

Hi my name is adaneli a few montha ago i was diagnose with hiperthyroids i was put on levotiroxine and then later i was told i disnt.need it beacuse it could.have been a possible thyroiditis .... im confused and would like ro seek more help.. i have rapid pulses on.my troat very irritating.. i.had. aholiter and.ekg and they sais my heary waa good xobditions.. they took away caffeine and i do have alot of atress right now i am.on axialitcs i take them. Daily i sweat alot at nighta and day.. i have aome chest discomfort, and i feel veey very tired at times at work.. i feel like i dont get enough sleep please help me.cuse im.getting.very irritated.. thanma alot hope u can.tell me.whata wrong and.if those pulses are nothing to worry about

Based from the information provided the DRUG -LEVOTHYROXINE is used to treat thyroid issues to the person having less thyroid hormone in the blood , the drug acts as substitute for the thyroid hormone and effects and the symptoms you are facing are from the over dose of the drug. The over dose of drug will cause the palpitations in heart, heart pounding, high heart rate, sweating, and will give you sensation of chest discomfort.

ADVICE: Please visit you primary care physician / endocrinologist and ask them that you are having issues like high heart rate and sweating and chest discomfort , and ask him to reduce the dose of LEVOTHYROXINE.

Please calm down , you are just having an higher dose of levothyroxine then you body can tolerate and readjustment for the dose will take care of your issues.
