hi last month when i got my menstural cycle on 5th Aug 2013 i had very heavy bleeding till 15th Aug. my gynae gave me gynae cvp and trapic for five days and bleeding stopped. Bleeding stopped on 16th Aug. After that from the 17th Aug 2013 he gave me doxypal 100mg for seven days; daxif 10mg for seven days and devry 10mg for 10 days. I got my menstural cycle on 1st Sept 2013. He has asked me to take primulate n from 5th sept 2013. Is it safe to take this medication after taking deviry. Pls. confirm
Hi, Since you have already taken a progesterone preparation without any side effects, it is likely that you may tolerate this drug also well. Primolut N has more androgenic effects than Medroxyprogesterone and if you wish, you can ask your doctor to continue with Deviry. There is no contraindication to switching over the medications, but any one must be continued throughout a single cycle. Hope your query has been answered. Wish you good health.
