Swollen perineum, abdominal and anus pain. Herpes?
I have a swollen perineum . It feels sore where the top my legs meet my pelvis and I get sharp abdominal pain every now and then. Also my anus feels like it has a rash and it was painful to go to the toilet. The symptoms started on holiday with my boyfriend who I ve been seeing for the past month. We have had both anal and vaginal sex and I thought it might have been caused having sex in the beach and possibly getting sand in my genital while have sex. I m hoping it s not a sexually transmitted infection like herpes. I was tested today but I won t get the results for up to 2 weeks. I can t see any sores but the nurse said it might be herpes. The doctor I saw earlier in the week gave me antibiotics which I ve taken for 3 days and it has not got rid of my swollen perineum. In fact, there has been no change to the symptoms but I have another 4 days of tablets left. Please advise.

Probably your Intense sexual activity may be the cause for both Swollen perineum, anal and abdominal pain.
Because you both had both vaginal and anal sex.
It is advisable to use the lubrication while having vigorous sexual activity to avoid injuries to vagina, perineum and anus.
It may also be due to Herpes infection or fungal infection.
If you have any vaginal discharge, Fever, Shivering or malodour in vaginal discharge, please consult a gynaecologist.

Thanks for the query to H.C. M.Forum.
As you stated that swollen perineum with pain during defecation and this is after anal and vaginal intercourse.
In my opinion this is just due to forceful sex.
Ibuprofen 400 mg + serratiopeptidase 10 mg will sufficient .
In my opinion this will cure you within 3-4 days.
