Swelling On Nose After Getting Smacked. Could This Be Permanent?

Hi, my name is John. Anyway, Friday night my dad and I got in a little bit of a skirmish and he reached across the counter to swat at me and in doing so I got smacked on my nose (mainly the tip, I think) with a box of hot wings I had in my hands. I'm 99% positive its not broken but it has been several days now and it not only appears to still be somewhat swollen but on top of that it seems to have made my congestion a lot worse. Could the swelling be a permanent thing if its not actually broken? I'm a'm very self conscious about my nose because even after rhinoplasty people still say it's big.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello
the swelling is due to collection of blood due to rupture of blood vessel.this swelling will go off in 10days of injury.
If after the swelling goes there is deformity then it will require correction.
otherwise intially when you had injury you shouldl have gone to ENT specialist.
In doubt do reply
