Swelling, Fluid Oozing After Injecting Copaxine In Stomach Area. Will This Go On Its Own?

I am 47 years old. Taking Copaxine one injection every 2 days. I inject into the stomach area. About a month and a half ago I had s site swell and become inflamed and "oozing". It is still slightly swollen, is very large, is purplish, and oozes clear fluid (sometimes with a little blood). I am covering it and using ointment. Will this go away on its own?

Hi,
It seems that due to irritation of injecting material given subcutaneously might give rise to some irritation and infection on the site.
Clean the wound with antiseptic lotion and do dressing with antibiotic cream.
Go for one antibiotic medicine after consulting your doctor.
Change the site of injection.
Ok and take care.
