Sweating In Feet, Inflammation. Done With Sclerotherapy, Athlete's Feet Treatments, Epsom Salt And Hypercare.

I am having excessive sweating in my feet and a feeling of infammation in my lower legs and feet. It feels exactly like the feeling of a tamiflu reaction I once experienced. I know I have some venous reflux for which I had some sclerotherapy for a few years ago. my doctor seems to think it is just anxiety. Diabetes and hypertension have also been ruled out with a full workup and labs. I've tried athlete's feet treatments, epsom salt and hypercare. I'm really at a loss. Not to mention the embarrasing odor caused by the sweating. No one can seem to give me an answer. Please help. Thanks in advance!!

Hi

The possible reasons for your symptoms have been ruled out in part. Probably you have Hyperhydrosis(excessive sweating) of feet without any other medical condition. Since you have tried all medical treatment for the problem the probable answer is surgical. There are few surgical procedure available with high success rate, that cuts the supply of sympathetic system(sympathectomy) to your part that sweats.
The part that you mentioned about the inflammation of feet is primarily you have a venous hypertension which is the reason you had venous problem. The solution can be a prevention of long standing, wear compression stokings.
Few test can further help if it has not been done
Arteriovenous doppler of lower limbs
B-12 vitamin assey
Hope my answers have satiesfied you. Please feel free for any querries

Thanking you

I hope the advise will be helpful for you.
Sweating in the feet can be very troublsome but taking self treatment considering it athlete's foot is not recommended.
A local physician can easily identify it, if it were there.
There can be many causes for excessive sweating in feet like wearing inappropriate socks/shoes, neuropathy or thyroid disorder or anxiety disorders to name a few.
it needs evaluation and investigation by a local physician.
There are good medicines to control this your physician will know the doses.
