Hello,
If you are using oral contraceptives already, for more than a couple of months, if do not need any additional hormones as a precaution against unwanted pregnancy as you are unlikely to be ovulating. Nordette is shown to have effects as an emergency contraceptive when taken in bulk. You are likely to get withdrawal effects of hormone after using the pills. These include bleeding or spotting and delayed cycles for one or two months. Usually two doses of 4 pills each are recommended, but the efficacy is not proved. Hope this helps.
