Suggest Treatments For Neck Pain And Stiffness

I am a female aged 68. Normally in good health but I have been suffering from neck pain and stiffness for months now which physiotherapy has not helped. i now seem to be suffering from chronic tireness. Is there any connection? My joints ache all the time.

thanks for your query...it will be much usefull if i know how long you have this problem, and any treatmrnt taken other than physiotherappy.if it is of shorter duration, initially can be managed with analgesics and muscle relaxants(i prescribe aceclofenac and chlorezoxasone to my patients).if symptoms are persisting,we need to take an x-ray to rule out cervical spondylosis or any other pathologies.meanwhile you can do something to minimise the pain
1)avoid constant head posture for long
2)use neck muscle tightening excercise
3)a cervical collar may also help.
hope you find this usefull.
