I ve been itching for about three weeks I don t have a rash but I m itching all over I when to the doctor on 9/16/15 the Doctor gave me prednisone 1 tab once a day for six days and I put cortisone cream on the areas where I m itching. I m still itching with no relief. I think it might be that I use to much laundry detergent in my clothes. What can I do to stop itching? Ialso use gold bond lotion to give me some temporary relief.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of body itching. Well symptoms occurs due to allergic reaction, contact dermatitis, exposure to allergens, compromised immunity of body and due to increased susceptibility. Need not to worry. You should avoid touching or pricking these rashes. Drink plenty of fluids. Take diet rich in multivitamins. I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper examination without any delay , because it can lead to anaphylactic shock sometimes . Doctor may give adrenal shot or prescribe antihistamine . For now take benadryl and apply cold compresses to affected area , which relieved swelling and itchiness .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
