Hello there,
Thank you for your question. Your sugar level of 11 was quite high and definitely based on that your medications were increased. If the increased doses and medicines are keeping your sugars under control then that means that you need to continue with the same. As diabetes progresses many a times medicines need to be upgraded. Till your sugars are under control do not reduce medicines. Only if sugars start to fall below 70 or if you are sick with any other problem like loose motions or vomiting you may need to reduce doses based on how much your sugar levels are or how much you are able to eat. For now continue diet restrictions and exercise as advised and also continue the same medicines.
Hope this helps.
Take care.

DEAR SIR, GREETING S .. PLEASE WRITE YOUR SUGAR LEVELS CORRECTLY WEATHER IT IS FASTING/ RANDOM. even if your sugar levels are under control please continue your tablets as now. there is no cure for diabetes only we need to control. and it should be life ling effort. You need to get your FBglucose, lipid profile, microalbuminuria and HbA1c checked. Stay away from all the fast / processed / and fried food stuffs .. divide your meal in to 4-5 parts per day whenever you feel hungry.. add more of fiber rich food stuffs like green leafy vegetables, raw fruits.. (not juices), eat very less of carbohydrates avoid sugar completely.. take Millets and breads prepared out of it like ragi.. ragi is a very good source of calcium too...do take more of proteins ... like egg white... say no to oils and cholesterol rich food stuffs ... u can take thin cuts of fish (boiled) but chicken (without skin) rarely...sir, based on this you prepare your diet chart and strictly follow it ..Do exercise .. walk at least half an hour to one hour a day ... try and practice yoga and pranayama ... some aasanas are very easy to practice and also beneficial. Quit smoking and reduce your alcohol intake. Moreover, beet root juice (inorganic nitrate), olive leaves, garlic, termeric, tamarind also have proven benefits. if u can follow these (have to!!) you can definitely see difference yourself by the time you have your next blood investigation report in two months ...ALL THE BEST GET BACK TO ME WITH ALL THE CORRECT REPORT S .... THANK YOU
