Suggest Treatment For White Spots On The Skin

my son has white spots on his skin,happened overnight.since last Sunday he has been treated for bronchitis and was hospitalized for 3 days.he is on purmycin which is an antibiotic.what could be the cause.he is 15 and has never had any childhood disease.
