I went to the doctor and i got an antifungal cream to put on the chafed area and some tablets.. after using it for some months i realise that the chafed skin has healed bt it has a very lighter colour than my complexion, it has become very dry but it doesnt itch, and the skin looks like its going to peel off.. it becomes white.. it feels very uncomfortable.. i dont know whats wrong with it from i had the chafing. Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. The chafing you described on your vaginal area can be due to fungal infection or dryness and friction. You should avoid soap and irritants to wash your genital area and instead you can use saline or warm water for washing.Use mild soaps or detergents to wash your undergarments.I advise ointments with combination of antifungal like miconazole ,antibacterial like gentamycin and corticosteroid clobetasol for local application in such case. You can also use intimate wash regularly which helps in maintaining your normal vaginal flora and PH.So your normal moistness of vaginal can be maintained.Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further query.
Thanks.
