General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Typhoid fever may last for 3-4 weeks. Although, if the treatment is working, the patient should feel better from the 3rd or 4th day of starting the treatment. Even after 10 days treatment if he is not feeling better, then the treatment should be reviewed and changed.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
