My 12 year old daughter has both great toe nails thickening over the last three years. There are no signs of onychomycosis and I think that she experienced some trauma to those toes from wearing shoes that were too tight. She also competed in gymnastics and I wonder if there is anything I can do to correct the thickening... ie debulk? She is healthy and has no medical problems.
