Hi, I am 24 years old, married a year ago, no offspring, I used to have regular cycles (every 28 to 30 days)
in Jan. 2015 I had missed period, I've done Beta hcg but it was negative, I did vaginal U/S after 2 weeks of missed period and it revealed:
thickened endometrium (16 mm ), a small cyst on the rt. ovary, I did not received treatment
the a menstrual bleeding occured on 4th feb. 2015 and lasted for 6 days....
then at 22 feb, i began spots !! which lasted for 7 days !
then restarts on 4 march .... then i did another vaginal U/S and revealed ( endometrial thickness: 12 mm with the same cyst on the rt ovary ....
on 5th march the bleeding became heavier with pain ...
I received gynera on 9th march but the bleeding persists up till now...
I saw a doctor today and made U/S revealed endometrial thickness: 21 mm and slightly enlarged ovaries with small follicles ( no growing follicles) with thick stroma and no cysts on ovaries

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Thickened endometrium is found in:
1. early pregnancy
2. Polycystic ovarian syndrome
3. Endometrial hyperplasia
4. Endometrial carcinoma
Since your beta HCG values are normal, pregnancy is ruled out.
I would suggest you to get an endometrial biopsy or D &C done so that the histopathological examination of the endometrium can be done and appropriate treatment can be done.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
