Suggest Treatment For Swollen Elbow

i banged my elbow over a week ago. There was little pain after the initial hit, but the elbow swelled like I had a tennis ball under my skin. The following day I had a bruise extending to my wrist and up to my armpit. Little pain, some tenderness in the forearm and swelling at the wrist. Now the swelling has subsided and the huge dark bruise is fading, but I'm getting pain, mostly at night,in cycles, that is intense enough to wake me.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query.Your problem is most likely formation of haematoma. It will subside gradually. You can apply ice on it.But it is better to rule out a fracture in that area by doing an x ray examination by orthopedician. You could have gotten a nerve injury in that area that is why you are have pain all over hand.Nerve vitamins like Vitamin B12 and B6 should also be advised. It will take some time to normalize the injured nerve.Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further query.
I find this answer helpful
