Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Painful Stomach
my boyfriend is a diabetic type 1 onset or whatever w in the last6 mo he has became so swollen and so big espeshilly in his stomach (which is EXTREEMLEEY HARD). He just went through the cure for HEP C in june or july of last yr but did not do interferonhe was presctribed one of the new mwdications they have out that cures it in 12 to 36 weeks depending how bad u have is there any way this problem he is going through could be extended side effects of that medication?
He has been off it since july and is still not feeling well and all this happenbed w his (stomach and rashes and fatigue ect.) since he has been off the number one thing that worries me the most is HOW HUGE HE GOT IN THE STOMICH AND HOW HARD IT IS ITS NOT NORMAL ITS JUST NOT! Please cod u help us find answers to this or r we right did the trial med for HEP C do this only asking cause after prescribing the trial med to him his liver DR dropped him and said I don't want u to wind up suing mem?! He and I got extremely worried after that why would a DR say that?
He is seeing his PCP as often as he can and he does everything she tells him but still NOTHING,he takes all his meds as required and prescribed,WE R AT A LOOP HERE I DONT HAVE A CLUE NITHER DOES HE AND ITS WEAIGHING ON OUR RELASHONSHIP REALY BAD HE KEEPS SAYING "IM DYING", "IM NOT GOING TO BE AROUNG LONG AND IM SCAIRED" ,
I BEG OF U PLEASE HELP HIM AND PLEASE EASE HIS MIND CAUSE NONE OF THESE DR R DOING ANTHING OR SAYING ANYTHING

Noted you have hepatitis C.It can get converted into chronic hepatitis in 50 to 60 % cases.Also he has not taken prescribed interferone drug.
Mostly here it seems to be development if cirrhosis secondary to hepatitis c.It can lead to portal hypertension.And your symptoms like spleenomegaly and edema lead to ascites could be because of that.USG and LFT with viral marker for hepatitis c done.
If above us cause take low salt diet.
Diuretic can be taken.
Meanwhile take low fat diet .
More fruits.
Strictly avoid alcohol.
If still cause not clear USG and endoscopy done for rule out any bends or adhesion in intestine if present.
If still cause not clear it could be by chronic constipation ...
Avoid stress and consult gastric surgeon for it.
Take care.
