Suggest Treatment For Swelling On Feet When Suffering From Diabetes

HI There, My father is now 60 years of age and having sensation in hands/palms, some times pain fingures . He has diabetic since last 10 years and BP problem from past 2 years. Also noticed swelling on the feets, Please suggest to whom we have to approach, the nuero physican / genral phycian as what could be the issue

dear sir I can understand your concern.
swelling of feet in diabetes can be due to two main resons
1. there can be a condition called cellulitis which will make your skin of legs to become red and extremely painful.
2. the second problem can be due to problem in kidney for that you need to check his serum cratinin
there is some chance of cardiac problem may also cause swelling of feet
I suggest you to visit a physician and try speaking with him regarding this three possibilities
