Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You seem to be experiencing dysmenorrhea, which is a condition of pain prior to and during menstruation. You can have relief through proper clinical assessment and management. There is no need to worry about infertility in future as it is totally unrelated and in fact, pain is often observed with ovulatory cycles. Medication, avoidance of stress, maintenance of a healthy lifestyle are useful to relieve the condition.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

These are perimenstrual symptoms and it’s quite common among young girls. As the first line of management, you can take analgesics line mefenamic acid (meftal) is the brand name for symptomatic management.

Also, drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated. You can take drugs like Domperidone also.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
