Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat
The past week ive had a terrible cough and scratchy sore throat that wakes me up at night. My tonsils are swollen and i have red and white lines in the back of my throat. It hurts to much to even try to swallow. I really dont want to go to the dr unless its really necessary. Help.

In my opinion
Start antiseptic mouthwash , Plenty of fluids , combination of Paracetemol + Ibuprofen , Antihistaminic levocetirizine , Antibiotic azithromycin , cough suppressant for 5 days.
Certainly above treatment will give you much relief but if relief is not upto satisfaction level then consultation with your ENT doctor will become essential.
