Hello Welcome in H.C.M. i have gone through your query regarding sore throat with difficulty in speaking. You are also having pain on back of your chest. Your symptoms are in favour of respiratory tract infection involving both upper and lower respiratory tracts as thre is sore throat and lower down larynx (sound box) and lung tissue ( for pain in resp at the back of chest) are all involved. Here I would like to suggest you to cosult your physician for Examination, investigation and treatment as these type of cases are in danger for pneumonitis (respiratory emergency). Till you are in waiting for specialist you may take- 1- Steam inhalation. 2- Tab Paracetamol. 3- Antihistaminic and decongestant. 4- Antibiotics (preferably broad spectrum with anaerobic coverage).
