I am a 59 year old female who fell on ice nearly 10 weeks ago, landing hard on my bottom and back, a bit to the left side. My tailbone was very sore and my lower torso felt like it was jammed (for lack of a better term). It felt better when I would stretch. I'm over the tailbone pain, but still have some soreness in my mid-back when I twist my torso or sit too long. I also have pain in my ribs, below my breasts, particularly on the left side - but only after prolonged sitting (which I do all day at work). It isn't sharp pain, I'd call it more discomfort. I was examined by my family doctor and had three weeks of physical therapy for my back. I turned to a chiropractor, but after three trips to the chiropractor; it seemed to be worse. (Maybe it was too soon after the injury?) No x-rays were taken. Should I pursue another doctor or just give it time?
